In 2015, Fernando Patino founded Cross Safety Management out of a deep conviction — not a business plan. There was no outside funding, no investors, no private equity backing. Just a man with decades of safety experience, a relentless work ethic, and a faith-driven belief that he could build something meaningful.
Fernando saw an industry full of checkbox compliance and paper-thin safety programs. He knew workers deserved better. He knew companies deserved a partner who would actually show up, walk the job site, and treat their people like family.
What started as a one-man operation in Indiana has grown into a team of approximately 22 professionals serving clients across the United States and Canada — all without a single dollar of outside investment.
Fernando didn't pick the name “Cross” by accident. He named this company deliberately — because his faith isn't just a personal belief, it's the foundation of how he runs his business.
